Terms and Conditions
1. Refund Policy
- Refunds: No refunds will be issued once the term has started. If a student fails to attend due to personal reasons and cannot arrange a makeup session within the term, the tuition is considered forfeited. No pro-rata refunds will be issued. A maximum of 2 replacement lessons may be given.
2. Enrolment Agreement
- Enrolment: By enrolling, students agree to always obey classroom etiquette. An enrolled student cannot have another individual attend a class in their absence. Students may only attend the class on the day and time they are enrolled in. Swapping classes is not permitted.
- Enrolment Fee for Term Course Students: New students are required to pay a once-off enrolment fee of $100 at the time of enrolment.
- Trial Class Fee: Trial classes cost $90 for a 2-hour session. This fee will be credited toward the semester’s tuition if registration follows the trial; otherwise, it is non-refundable.
- Lesson Changes: If the minimum number of registrations is not met within four days before the course start date, the course will be cancelled. Term start and finishing dates may vary due to public holidays and the availability of the class tutor. Courses cannot be postponed to a subsequent term.
3. Use of Student and Artwork Photography
- General Consent: Due to legislative changes to the Information Act 2003, written consent is required for using student photos and displaying their work for school publicity, such as in newsletters, promotional materials, and newspapers.
- Duration of Consent: This consent remains valid throughout your child’s enrolment unless rescinded and can be withdrawn at any time by writing to the principal.
- Automatic Consent: By enrolling, students automatically agree and consent to the use of photos and work in school publicity unless a written withdrawal notice is submitted to the principal.
4. Classroom Etiquette
- Behaviour Expectations: Students are expected to always maintain appropriate behaviour. Disruptions to the learning environment will not be tolerated, and students may be asked to leave the class if they fail to comply with the etiquette guidelines.
5. Enrolment Policy & Procedures
- Payment and Hold Policy: Due to the popularity of courses, places cannot be held without payment.
- Attendance: Students may only attend the day and time of the class they are enrolled in. No class swapping is permitted.
- Course Cancellation: If a course is cancelled due to insufficient registrations, students will be notified four days before the start of the course.
