The Term 4 Curriculum 2026 for our Artisan Studio is designed for teenagers aged 13–17 who are ready to take their art to the next level. This 10-week program provides a deep dive into advanced artistic techniques and creative exploration. Each week, students will tackle a new skill, fostering their artistic growth and expression.

- “Cabinets of Curiosities” Collection + Documentation: Develop a colour swatch collection while exploring media testing and annotation techniques.
- Elements of Graphite: Practice graphite sketching with a focus on annotations and capturing creative methodologies for their sketches.
- Chinese Stamp Making: Learn clay sculpting techniques and the art of positive and negative space in traditional Chinese stamp making.
- Human Architecture – Ink Studies: Study the importance of implied lines and explore how to depict forms without fully rendering them.
- Life Drawing Class: Develop a series of sketches in each session with annotations and refine observational skills.
- Human Architecture – Colour: Solve colour challenges in architectural compositions while working on time-sensitive drawings.
- Human Architecture – People in Movement: Capture movement with panoramic perspectives and surrealist influences, using shape, form, and composition techniques.
- Natural Form – Mark Making: Practice plein air painting with a focus on the basic shapes and structures of trees.
- Reverse Acrylic Painting on Glass: Explore planning and layering techniques while using acrylics on glass to achieve unique effects.
- Create Your Own Artwork: Conclude the term by applying all learned skills to create a personalised piece, showcasing the key techniques developed during the program.
